Every site we design comes with a Website Care Plan. Which means from the moment your site goes live, we’ve got our eye on it, keeping it safe, keeping it fast and making sure nothing breaks while you’re busy running your business.
A lot of work and emotion goes into creating a new website. And not to forget your financial commitment.
You want to make sure everything is going to work beautifully from day one. And if any problems crop up after launch, we’ll sort them quickly before they have time to impact your customers, protecting your reputation and incomes and ensuring your brand continues to get in front of those ready to buy from you.

Why do I need a Website Care plan?
Because it puts your website in the best hands possible; humans who get WordPress. We can visually check everything and spot issues that technology or less experienced people might not be able to, for example, when an upgrade causes something to go wonky.
We also ensure all the proper security is in place and working 24/7, protecting your reputation and customer experience.
Can I get a new website from you without taking out a Website Care plan?
In a word, no. Quality and ongoing performance of all our websites are critical, and so all packages come with a Website Care Plan as standard.
How long will it take you to set up my Website Care Plan?
We can usually set you up on our Website Care Plan within 48 hours. This depends on whether you wish to change your email hosting as well as your website hosting. It also depends on our current level of demand.
Can I just have your hosting on it’s own?
Unfortunately not. We have our own server on which we keep only websites held under our expert care. These are websites that we know are safe and secure. We can’t risk hosting a website that may jeopardise the security of our clients.
You didn’t build my website. Can I still get a Website Care plan from you?
Absolutely! We can get your WordPress website migrated over to one of our super-whizzy servers free of charge and take care of it for you.
What does ‘technical support’ include or cover?
Technical support covers any issues or faults that you have with your website. Is does not include making structural, design or copy changes to your website.
My business and website is only small, so do I really need a Website Care Plan?
You need to think about whether your website is critical to the effective running of your business? Would you lose sales, customers, bookings or credibility if it went down? Have you got time and cash put aside to rebuild your website from scratch if you lost it all through hacking? Or could you afford the down-time and cost to repair your website if it was hacked? As your business is growing, do you still have the time, skills, and desire to take good care of it yourself? Could your IT team be putting their time to better use? These are just a few things to think about when weighing up the decision.
Can I keep my own hosting and just have the rest of the plan?
We are happy to discuss this and look into how your current hosting is working for you. For us, reputation and reliability is everything and we want to ensure that all websites in our care are up, available, and working properly for all of our clients website visitors. All websites are hosted on our own server and benefit from 99.99% uptime. If your website remains hosted elsewhere, issues can be more time-consuming for us to deal with through a third party – and therefore the cost could be slightly more.
My current hosting costs less than your Website Care plan. Why do you charge more?
Because for the best part, we’re offering more. Plus, you have the added benefit that the people who built your site are also looking after it. We check it’s working as it should, are there to advise and quality check as it grows, and if you need to add more content, pages or functionality, like membership groups, we can do it all for you – just one person to call.
I’ve got an in-house IT team. Why do I still need a Website Care plan?
We’re WordPress experts. And we prioritise you. No waiting in a queue whilst Bob from IT fixes the printer first. Seriously, we understand everything you need to know about how your website works and what can go wrong. Should this happen, our specialist expertise means we can quickly fix things a lot of the time before you even know there is a problem, taking the pressure off your team. Plus – we’re here for you as your business grows. We make sure your website continues to work for you, providing ongoing guidance to keep it on brand, easy to navigate and fully optimised for search, as you add new pages and content.
Doesn’t my current hosting provider keep my website safe and secure?
Your hosting provider should (hopefully) have at least a basic level of security on their server. However, they do not maintain your WordPress website on your behalf (unless you have a Managed WordPress Hosting) so it is up to you to keep your website safe and secure. We can provide all this for you with our Website Care Plan.
